It’s that time of the week again, that little day full of 23 minutes of joy. Why’s that? Because the new Naruto: Shippuuden episode just came out! Titled “Surname is Sarutobi, Given Name is Konohamaru” this episode focuses on, obviously, Konohamaru (a.k.a. the little boy that Naruto taught the perverted ninjutsu too).

Konohamaru is in the middle of the shit storm that Pain is bringing to the Hidden Leaf village and hints at his friends that he will use his new jutsu that he learned from Naruto to help everyone in the village. His friends don’t pay him much mind and instead they all go to help the rest of the village evacuate. In the midst of trying to find any stragglers, Konohamaru finds one of the 6 Pains whose special ability seems to be killing people who lie to him by swallowing their elongated invisible tongues. Kind of reminds me of Nightmare on Elm Street… sorta.

Kind of a slow episode all throughout but ends magnificently, definitely go check it out at animePLUS!.
