Orihime butts in right in the nick of time to witness Ichigo about to be murdered on top of a huge pillar by none other than Ulquiorra. If you are a big fan of anime such as me, you will notice a bit of a Dragon Ball Z-esque moment as scenes from the last episode are being pulled in, lots of slow moments trying to build up the intensity and finally coming to a climactic end in which you know the next episode is going to be freakin’ amazing!

Personally, I was kind of bored with the first half of this episode, but the second half really picks it up with a kick. Lately the Bleach episodes have been going a bit slow, but if you have been reading the manga religiously like I have for the past few years, you will notice why. Bleach is almost at its end…. or at least very close to where the manga is, so it makes sense to try and extend the episodes and put the excessive amounts of fillers they’ve been doing lately. Luckily for us, the show is following the manga at the moment, which means a hell of a lot of cool fights coming up.
