HTC has officially announced the impending arrival of their new smartphone: the Droid Incredible. The name may leave something to be desired, but the phone is looking really impressive. The device will run on Adroid 2.1, features a 1.0GHz processor, a sleek 3.7 inch touchscreen display and an 8 megapixel camera for taking photos or video. At $199 after a $100 mail-in rebate and two year contract, the pricing is right in line with competitors.

The phone will be available for preorder at Verizon’s website starting April 19th and will be in stores on the 29th.
