by Eric On June - 30 - 2010

Haven’t been able to get your hands on the new Xbox 360 slim console yet? Let’s unbox it and take a look at some of the new features!

The Xbox box.

Comes with the very basic composite audio/video cables, power supply and cord,
wireless black controller (batteries included), and a headset.

Many more available inputs, USB’s galore! Powered input for Kinect (no additional power
supply needed), HDMI output, optical output, built-in Wifi, and 250GB hard drive.

Size comparison between the new Xbox 360 slim and the original Playstation 3.

Although the PS3 has a slim version of its own this will give you and idea of the size of the
new Xbox 360 console.

Size comparison with the Nintendo Wii.

Check out the video showing how loud/silent the new Xbox 360 slim console is and see the new touch-sensitive buttons in action!

  1. EvilPaul Said,

I love the button sounds but they sound just like my washer and dryer! A very nice looking console.

I have to say it looks pretty freakin sexy, and sounds good too. Still ain’t willing to shell out that amount of money for it though.

  4. Eric Said,

Might be cheaper than you think!

Do you have a Xbox 360 with a hard drive, wireless network adapter, controller w/charge cable? Play ‘n Trade and Gamestop/EBgames are offering some great deals when you trade in your older Xbox 360 for a new one. On top of that they are also offering extra cash for traded in popular games.

I traded in my Xbox 360, 20gb hdd, (white) wireless network adapter, controller w/charge cable, and COD MW2 and got a $200 trade-in value! For $160 I left Play ‘n Trade with the new Xbox 360 slim, extra wireless controller, Forza 3 ($34 valued used game), and a Play ‘n Trade membership!

Damn, Eric, that’s a pretty good deal. I didn’t even realize you got all that stuff with it. Now I’m even more tempted!
