by Ryan On March - 23 - 2010

Mass Effect 2 is a great game and contains a lot of ideas prevalent in science fiction these days, but just how far off are we from seeing this fiction become reality? Renowned physicist Dr. Michio Kaku recently spoke with GameTrailers about the technologies in Mass Effect 2 and gives us a tantalizing look at what physicists are doing today to produce the technology of tomorrow.

Dr. Kaku is one of the leading voices in physics today and is the author of several books including Hyperspace: A Scientific Odyssey Through Parallel Universes, Time Warps, and the Tenth Dimension and Physics of the Impossible. In the video, he discusses everything from invisibility cloaks to biotics and all kinds of fascinating topics in between. For more info, feel free to visit his official website.
