A new trailer for the upcoming Lost Planet 2 has hit the web and with a surprising little twist; it features characters from Gears of War! Epic Games has reportedly handed over some of their assets to Capcom and they will appear exclusively on the Xbox 360 version of the title.

The characters are supposedly not set to appear in the main story (boo!) but will be available in other modes. After viewing the video, I can honestly say this seems to work pretty well. The art direction on the Gears characters fits nicely with that of Lost Planet.
