Eric, I'm with you on Natal having the most potential out of the motion controllers; it just seems that it is different enough to do some great new things with. I'm not really sold on it, but I'm not going to dog it either. I'll see what MS presents at E3 and decide how I feel after that.

I'm also very excited to see what kind of new features come to LIVE; I would hope Hulu would be free as well!

First off, great PrE3 for Microsoft! Like you said Microsoft has been keeping things quiet this year so I didn't really know what to expect.

Halo: Reach, Fable 3, and Gears of War 3 would make for a very successful 2010! I'm looking forward to playing them all, but you're right... I'm expecting surprises from Microsoft.

Out of all the motion devices I'm most excited about Natal. No gimmicky controllers required. I would like Microsoft's developers to hopefully use the new feature as a fun interaction with games but not try to overtake modern controllers. For example I do not see myself wanting to play a racing game where I have to pretend to hold a steering wheel and push my foot against imaginary pedals. That experience might be fun for mini games or certain aspects of in-game driving, but my primary driving experience I would want to be via the controller. I'm really hoping for quality with Natal.

The other feature of Natal is that it is able to learn (observe) about you / the player. This is what I'm most excited about. The person's size, gestures, emotions, color shirt they have on, where they are looking, being able to read printed text, identify objects, etc... If developers can use these bits of information in a creative way I see this to be revolutionary!

Hulu on the Xbox needs to have a free service otherwise I don't see it being very successful. Microsoft has always given the best online experience so I know they won't disappoint when it comes to new Xbox Live features.

Great article Ryan! Looking forward to seeing what E3 holds for 2010!
