IGN’s Daemon Hatfield has reported that Rare’s recent Perfect Dark remake on XBLA will be getting an update in April. The info comes from Rare’s twitter feed and while no specific date was stated, they did share what the update will be bringing to the game. For one, a bug fix is going into place to remedy a problem with the Tools of the Trade achievement; GamerScore points are not being allotted when the achievement is unlocked. A couple of new control schemes will appear as well as a new hardcore mode that turns off the radar and auto aim.

The Perfect Dark re-release has been a big hit on XBLA and with this update, it only gets better!
