During EA’s small press conference today they talked about Shank, a game that has slipped under our radar. Shank is a classic side scrolling, beat’em’up that looks to be over the top and gory. It has a unique looking style to the game, very Venture Bros like. I personally dig the look and the 2D sprites look very crisp, especially when you chainsaw and stab people.

Shank also features a 2 player co-op which allows you and a buddy to chainsaw, shoot, and do tag-team finishers all day long. Enjoy the trailer and look forward to playing this on August 24 on Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
