Gamescom 2010 has descended upon Germany and we’ve got a brand new Halo: Reach trailer for you: A Spartan Will Rise. This trailer introduces us to the members that make up Noble Team including the character you play, Noble Six. Noble Six has been designated “Hyper Lethal” and in the trailer it’s mentioned that “there’s only one other Spartan with that rating.” Master Chief? I think that’s a safe bet.

At the end of the trailer there’s a shot of a human doctor, this is Catherine Elizabeth Halsey. She may not be familiar to those who haven’t read the books, but Cortana was created from a “flash clone” of Halsey’s brain. Cortana’s looks and personality are derived from Dr. Halsey.
